Whether we like it or not, since the ‘90's on, the keywords have been the fulcrum of search engines. But what exactly is a keyword?

The keyword is either a sentence or a single word that, once inserted in a search engine, it returns a series of relevant results.

The websites' optimization usually occurs based on one or several keywords, which are previously defined, while also taking into account the fact that not all the keywords are equally effective, because we should be able to identify those that generate greater sales for our business.

Further on within this chapter, I will explain the various types of keywords and how it is possible to generate a list of keywords through various SEO tools.
